June Yap has been with the Mazars since August 2006 and prior to this she has worked in another accounting firm and a multinational corporation in the trading sector. She started her tax profession in a local accounting firm before she moved on to join Mazars. She has gained exposure to tax compliance services provided to expatriates, trade associations and corporations in various sectors, such as investment holding, retail, manufacturing, leasing, insurance, construction and property development. She has also assisted in tax advisory relating to tax incentives for business development in Malaysia, due diligence exercise, application for relief from stamp duty, real property gains tax, tax planning for an expatriate and transfer pricing study.
