The Visionaries Behind Morison LC
In 2017, Datuk Kelvin Tan and Yang Yue made a bold decision. Leaving behind the comfort of established firms, they set out to build something different — a firm driven by ambition, purpose, and the belief that something greater was possible.
At its core, Morison LC identifies as a transformative growth powerhouse for its people. From the very beginning, it was designed to redefine what an accounting firm could be. Not merely a provider of services, but a supportive platform for developing exceptional leaders who create real impact and lasting value.
What began with two professionals has since grown into one of the fastest-rising forces in Malaysian professional services. Today, Morison LC brings together more than 200 professionals across four offices nationwide. We are recognized as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), an approved company auditor, and PCAOB-approved to audit Public Interest Entities — serving over 50 PIE clients and more than 2,500 corporate clients.

TKNP PLT was established by Datuk Kelvin Tan and Lim Yang Yue, with the support of KH Chong.
Lynette Lee joined the practice as Audit Partner to strengthen our leadership and support continued growth.
✓ Steven Chong and Wan Yinn Lim joined as Partners, further strengthening our leadership bench and capabilities.
✓ TKNP joined Morison Global, becoming an independent member.
The firm rebranded to Morison LC PLT, reflecting a clearer independent identity, stronger market positioning and long-term strategic direction.
AOB registered – we obtained approval from AOB to strengthen our public interest audit capabilities.
✓ Datuk Kelvin Tan returned in October 2024 as CEO.
✓ Lim Yang Yue returned in December 2024 as Audit Partner.
✓ Approved Auditor of Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA).
Our Steering Board was formed to strengthen governance, strategic oversight and sustainable growth.
We were approved as an auditor by Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), further elevating our international audit
standards.
